What Are Podcasts?

noun:
a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new instalments of which can be received by subscribers automatically.

e.g. an awesome way to keep up with your favourite people via a Music Streaming Platform (like Spotify & Apple Music)

What Can I Expect to Collect?

We collect information for podcasts from many different sources, including iTunes, Spotify, Soundcloud, Spreaker and Libsyn.
The collection is based on a number of variables. It's partly based on traditional descriptions, tags or transcription  (if the podcast author has shared it).
We currently have over 10,000 domains from which we collect podcasts.

Why are Podcasts So Important?

According to IAB and Edison Research, 65% of listeners purchasing decisions are impacted by a brands presence in a podcast.

It's all about loyalty and trust.
Around 80% of Podcast listeners tune into their favourite show or channel, and listen to each episode in full every week!
Giving advertisers a great platform to send a clear message week-on-week.

Alongside that, it's estimated that Podcast listeners listen to an average of 7 different shows per week.
Using Brand24 you can access a wide variety of channels with a single keyword search, giving you even more access to your customers listening habits.
