Threads monitoring lets you find public posts and replies that match the keywords you track in your Brand24 projects.
Why connect Threads with Brand24?
It helps you:
· Find conversations about your brand happening on Threads
· Track competitors, products, campaigns, and industry topics
· Analyze Threads mentions together with your other online sources
· Monitor sentiment around Threads conversations
· Discover relevant replies as well as original posts
How to connect Threads
You need to be an administrator of your Brand24 account to set up the integration.
Go to Account Settings.
Click Connect Threads.
Log in to the Threads profile you want to use.
Accept all requested permissions.
Complete the connection and return to Brand24.
Once connected, make sure Threads is enabled in: Project Settings → Sources
You only need to connect Threads once. The integration can then be used across your Brand24 projects, including newly created ones.
💡 A regular public Threads account is enough. It doesn't need to be a business or professional account.
Why do I need to connect Threads separately?
Threads is a separate platform. Connecting Instagram or Facebook to Brand24 doesn't automatically give Brand24 access to Threads search, so Threads requires its own connection.
The permissions are used to search public Threads content and retrieve available information about posts and their authors.
Brand24 cannot publish posts, reply, or manage your Threads profile.
What does Brand24 monitor?
Brand24 searches public Threads content for the keywords already configured in your projects. You don't need to create a separate keyword list for Threads.
When a matching public post is returned by Threads, it can appear in Brand24 as a mention. We can also collect replies if the reply contains your monitored keyword, and Threads returns it as a search result.
What data is available?
For a Threads mention, Brand24 can collect:
Post text
Author username
Link to the author's profile
Link to the post
Publication date
Information about whether the mention is a reply
When Threads makes the information available, we can also collect:
Author display name
Profile picture
Follower count
Brand24 also analyzes the language and sentiment of the Threads mention.
FAQ
Do you collect likes, shares, comments, and views?
Do you collect likes, shares, comments, and views?
No. Threads monitoring currently doesn't include engagement metrics such as likes, number of replies, shares, views. So if you see zero interactions next to a Threads mention in Brand24, it doesn't necessarily mean the original post had no engagement.
Can I connect more than one Threads account?

I'm not seeing a Threads mention. What should I check?
I'm not seeing a Threads mention. What should I check?
Make sure that:
· Your Threads account is connected and the integration hasn't expired
· Threads is enabled in the project's sources
· The post is public
· The monitored keyword appears in the post or reply text
· Your project's excluded keywords or other settings aren't filtering it out
· You're checking the Other Socials category
· You're not expecting historical mentions from before Threads was connected
· The Threads search limit hasn't temporarily been reached
Also remember that Threads controls which posts are returned through its search, so Brand24 can't guarantee that every matching public post will be collected.
If you're still missing a specific post, contact our support team and include the project, monitored keyword, and link to the missing Threads post.
