How to Properly Reintegrate Facebook/Instagram

A step-by-step guide on how to correctly reintegrate Facebook and Instagram accounts with Brand24.

Updated yesterday

When You Need to Reintegrate

If you’ve disconnected your Facebook or Instagram integration, and after reconnecting:

  • the permission selection window doesn’t appear,

  • you don’t see all your pages or profiles,

…it means the previous integration wasn’t fully removed from your Facebook settings. In such cases, you’ll need to thoroughly clear the connection both on Facebook’s side and in your Brand24 panel.

Step-by-Step: How to Reintegrate Your Account

Step 1: Remove Integration from Facebook Profile Settings

Important: This must be done from your personal Facebook profile settings, not from a page or Business Manager.

  1. Find Brand24 in the list of apps.

  2. Click Remove next to Brand24.

  3. If prompted, tick the option to delete all associated data, then confirm.

This tells Facebook to “forget” the previous permissions, so you can grant them anew during the next integration.

Step 2: Remove Integration in Brand24

  1. Log into your Brand24 account.

  2. Click the plug icon in the top-right corner of the panel and choose “Facebook”

  3. If not already done, disconnect your Facebook/Instagram account by clicking the trash bin icon.

  4. Click the “Delete now” button.

Step 3: Reconnect Your Accounts

  1. Still in Brand24, go to the Facebook and Instagram settings again.

  2. Click “Connect Facebook/Instagram.”

  3. This time, the full permission selection window should appear.

  4. Make sure to select all pages and profiles you want to monitor.

Once completed, Brand24 should regain access to your selected pages and data.
