PDF Report

Turn your project data into a branded PDF you can send to a client or present at a meeting.

The PDF report builder turns your project data into a branded, shareable PDF. You pick which slides go in, drag them into the order you want, and style the report to match your brand.

The builder runs in your browser, so you can preview the report before generating it and you get far more control over both content and appearance than the previous version offered.

Before you start

  • PDF reports are available in Pro, Business and Enterprise plans.

  • Your account can generate 200 reports and download 100 per day. The limit protects reports from being downloaded in bulk if a report link is ever shared beyond its intended audience.

  • Open your project and go to PDF Creator.

Step 1: Set the date range and filters

Pick your date range from the dropdown at the top of the page. You can use a preset range such as Last 30 days or set your own.

Use Filters to narrow the report to a specific filter or tag you have already set up in the project.

Step 2: Pick your slides

The Report content panel lists every section available for your report. Each one has a toggle, so you build the report from only the parts you need.

Tagged mentions

💡 By hovering over the chosen category, you will see a description and a preview of the section.

The number next to each section, for example Analysis (14/14), shows how many of that section's slides are selected.

Drag a section by the handle on its left to change where it appears in the finished PDF.

Tip: If you want a clean single-period report: turn Period Comparison off - it removes previous-period comparisons from the report.

Step 3: Customize the look

Everything in this step lives in the Customize your report panel.

  • Add your logo. Drag a file into the upload area or use Browse files. PNG, JPG, and SVG are supported, up to 2 MB. For best results use a PNG or SVG with a transparent background.

  • Pick accent color. Choose one of the ten preset colors, or use the + tile to enter your own.

  • Description. Add a short description that appears on the cover page.

  • Choose font. Roboto, Georgia, Montserrat, Roboto Slab, or Kalam.

  • Choose font color. Four presets, or the + tile for a custom color.

  • Choose background. Light minimalistic or Dark expressive.

  • Choose aspect ratio. Vertical or Horizontal.

  • Choose language. English, Spanish, Indonesian, or Polish. This sets the language of the labels and headings inside the report, not the language of the mentions.

Step 4: Preview and generate

Use Preview to see the report before you commit to it. When it looks right, click Generate report - Your report will be instantly downloaded. Large reports take longer to build.

How to add specific mentions to your report?

To include hand-picked mentions:

  1. Find the mention in your project.

  2. Tag it with "Add to PDF report". You can do this from the button below the mention, from the tag list, or as a bulk action on selected mentions.

  3. In the builder, switch on the Mentions Tag section. It is off by default.

💡 Switching the section on selects the first 20 tagged mentions. You can select up to 100 manually. If more than 100 mentions in your date range carry the tag, the 100 newest are shown.

How to show exact numbers in report?

If you want to see full numbers instead of abbreviated values (e.g. 1 234 567 instead of 1.2 k) go to User Settings and set it in the "Show exact numbers" section of general user settings.
