AI Context Search

What is this filter and how to use it

What is Context Search

Context Search is an AI-powered filter in your Brand24 project that helps you refine mentions based on meaning — not just keywords.

It allows you to type in a word, phrase, or even a full sentence to narrow your results to only the mentions that match your intent.

Instead of relying on complex Boolean queries or multiple filters, you simply describe what you want to see. The AI then understands the context and filters your mentions accordingly.

Benefits:

Saves time - Clears irrelevant mentions in seconds

Cleaner data - Focuses only on contextually relevant mentions

Simple to use - No Boolean queries or manual filtering

How to use Context Search

  1. Open your project in Brand24.

  2. Go to the Context Search filter.

  3. Type your prompt — a keyword, phrase, or full sentence — describing what you want to find.

    • Example:

      • Tracking Delta? Type: “Delta Airlines flight experiences.”

      • Monitoring Apple? Type: “Comparisons between Apple and Samsung smartphones.”

      • Tracking Gemini? Type: “Google’s AI Assistant.”

  4. Your results will instantly update to show only mentions that match your chosen context.

Context Search works seamlessly with other Brand24 tools:

  • AI Summaries can reflect only the filtered mentions.

  • Events will show spikes relevant to your chosen topic.

No technical setup or Boolean knowledge required — just plain language.

Who is it for

Context Search is designed for anyone who needs clarity in their data without extra effort:

  • PR and marketing professionals who need to quickly find relevant conversations and remove noise.

  • Decision makers and analysts who depend on accurate insights without digging through irrelevant mentions.

  • Teams using Brand24 across departments, ensuring consistent, focused data across the tool.

Use Cases

  1. Brand Names with Multiple Meanings
Track brands like Delta, Gemini, or Apple without drowning in unrelated topics.

    Example:

Type “Delta Airlines flight experiences” to filter out electronics or Covid-19 mentions.

  2. Complex PR Monitoring
When monitoring broad brands or industries, simplify your search.

    Example:

“Comparisons between Apple and Samsung smartphones” brings up only relevant discussion threads.

  3. Crisis Communication
When mentions spike suddenly, find the reason fast.

    Example:

“Customer complaints about delivery delays” shows you exactly what’s driving the increase.

Availability

Context Search operates on a unit-based system — every mention processed within a context counts as one unit, drawn from your monthly pool.
