Overview of filters and additional options for tagging and saving filters.

Brand24 offers advanced filtering features that make media monitoring more efficient by allowing you to find specific mentions without scrolling through your entire feed. This automation saves time and enhances the effectiveness of your monitoring efforts.

You can use advanced filters in the following sections:

  • Mentions Tab

  • Analysis Tab

  • Comparison Tab

Filters Overview

Date range

For each project, you can select a specific date range to display the collected data. You can set custom ranges or choose from preset options like last month, day, or year.

Sources

The Source Filter lets you segment and analyze mentions from different online sources. You can filter mentions from specific platforms by checking the relevant boxes.

Here's a breakdown of the categories:

  • Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok: Filters mentions from these social media platforms.

  • Videos: Includes mentions from video platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.

  • News: Covers mentions in online news articles and press releases.

  • Podcasts: Filters mentions from podcast episodes on platforms like Spotify or Apple iTunes.

  • Forums: Includes mentions from forums like Reddit, Quora, and niche-specific boards.

  • Blogs: Captures mentions from personal and professional blogs.

  • Web: Includes mentions from sources like newsletters that don’t fit into other categories.

Sentiment filter

Brand24 offers Sentiment Analysis in over 90 languages, including Chinese, Arabic, and Greek. Our Sentiment Identification Algorithm has a 95% accuracy score, making it highly reliable for understanding the tone of your mentions.

Influence Score

The Influence Score helps you identify which sources or authors have the greatest impact online. A higher score means a more influential source. You can also find the Influence Score in the Source Tab and Influencer Tab.

Geolocation filter

The Geolocation filter helps to filter out mentions from specific countries. You can also exclude countries you choose by switching the button above the search bar.

Intent filter

Filters out mentions based on the selected intent, such as spam, to keep your data clean and relevant.

Authors

This filter lets you view mentions from specific authors, making it easier to track key influencers or individuals. To include more than one author in your search, you can use the following operators: {AND}, {OR}, {NOT}.

Importance filter

The Importance filter shows key mentions based on source popularity, influence, sentiment strength, or engagement (likes, shares, comments).

Visited filter

This filter allows you to limit your mentions only to those that you have/haven't seen.

Domain filter

Show only entries from certain domains. To include more than one domain in your search, you can use the following operators: {AND}, {OR}, {NOT}.

Tags filter

The Tags filter shows only the mentions you've tagged with a specific label. To add a new tag, click the gear icon next to the filter. Then, select the mention you want to tag, and click the tags icon on the bar that appears at the bottom of your screen.

Saved filters

After adjusting the filters to match your needs, you can save them to avoid re-entering the same criteria each time. Saved filter makes it easy to quickly access the same query whenever you need it.
