The Source Filter in Brand24 is a feature that allows users to segment and analyze online mentions from different sources more effectively. You can find it in the Mentions Tab.

But what exactly lies within those categories? Let's explore:

  • Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok - those are self-explanatory. Clicking each category, you will be left with mentions gathered from those social media platforms.

  • Videos - Mentions from video content on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo.

  • News - This category covers mentions in online news articles and press releases.

  • Podcasts - Mentions within podcast episodes across various hosting platforms, like Spotify or Apple iTunes.

  • Forums - Includes mentions from forums like Reddit, Quora, and niche industry-specific boards.

  • Blogs - Mentions from personal and professional blogs are included here.

  • Web - This section includes mentions from sources like newsletters that don't fit into the other categories.

We hope this article has been useful to you! If you have any further questions or need help, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can reach us via email at help@brand24.com or send us a message using the chat box on the bottom-right side of your dashboard.
